Women in Scotland do not receive equal treatment to men following a heart attack

New research from the University of Aberdeen shows that women in Scotland were less likely than men to receive preventative medicine which could put them at greater risk of further heart attacks, strokes and cardiovascular problems. This is the first national study assessing sex differences in treatment and outcomes following a heart attack.
