Stopping the march: Can effective treatment of psoriasis prevent progression to psoriatic arthritis?

Psoriatic arthritis (PsA) is a chronic inflammatory arthritis which appears in around one-third of people with psoriasis. EULAR—The European Alliance of Associations for Rheumatology—is committed to reducing the impact of rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases on both the individual and society. At the 2024 EULAR congress, new data suggests it could be possible to prevent the evolution from skin psoriasis to PsA.
