Improving health care response to domestic violence in low- and middle-income countries

Culturally appropriate women-centered interventions can help health care systems respond to domestic violence, research has found. HERA (Health care Responding to Violence and Abuse) has been co-developing and evaluating a domestic violence and abuse health care intervention in low- and middle-income countries for the past five years.
