A 79-year-old man has died from injuries sustained when he was struck by an SUV while crossing a street in Niagara Falls on Monday. The collision occurred around 6:50 p.m. at the intersection of McLeod and Dorchester roads when a 62-year-old driver, in a blue Audi Q3, turned onto McLeod.
The man was taken to an out-of-region hospital but passed away on Wednesday afternoon. Niagara Regional Police are investigating the incident and are requesting any video or dashcam footage from the area.
