Antibiotic exposure before age two linked to childhood obesity

Taking antibiotics within the first two years of life is linked to a higher body mass index (BMI) in childhood, according to a new study. The research was presented at the Pediatric Academic Societies (PAS) 2025 Meeting, held April 24–28 in Honolulu.
