Homeostatic Balance

What is Homeostatic Balance?
A patented, non-invasive, drug free modality that enables the body to create natural balance known as Homeostasis, therefore alleviating suffering.

Homeostasis is a state of body equilibrium or stable internal environment of the body. It is so important that most disease and/or illness is regarded as a result of its disturbance, a state called Homeostatic Imbalance. In general, the body is in homeostasis when its needs are being adequately met and is functioning smoothly. Our patented modality uses bio-energy principles. The GSR-120 unit is used to direct energy directly onto various acupuncture points on the body to create homeostasis. We do not support any claims to diagnose, treat, or cure any disease or medical condition in which a physician's medical license is required.

What is BIE?
BIE is a simple, natural modality that uses a state-of-the-art instrument called the GSR-120 unit that is used to direct energy onto various acupuncture points on the body to help create a homeostatic state, therefore alleviating suffering.

When you really think about the fact that your body contains trillions of cells in nearly constant activity, and that remarkably little usually goes wrong with it, you begin to appreciate what a marvelous machine your body really is. Communication within the body is essential for homeostasis. The word "homeostasis" describes the body's ability to maintain relatively stable internal conditions even though the outside world is continuously changing. Although the literal translation of homeostasis is "unchanging" (homeo = the same; stasis = standing still), the term does not really mean an unchanging state. Instead, it indicates a dynamic state of equilibrium or balance in which the internal conditions change and vary, but always within relatively narrow limits in order to be free of any adverse reactions. In general, the body is in homeostasis when its needs are being adequately met and is functioning smoothly.

Cells are congruent to trillions of tiny batteries that comprise the human body. The more exposure we have to given energies, from foods, electromagnetic fields such as radiations, negative thought processes, pollens, danders, chemicals, etc., the more these discordant energies will lead
to homeostatic imbalance. These discordant energies are referred to as stressors.

What to expect?
During the body's process of creating homeostasis, the client may or may not experience a healing process. Healing process: signs of the body naturally cleansing itself. The healing process can start the day of the session or up to 3 weeks after in some cases, and may last from 1 to 28 days. Possible healing process symptoms:

  • Headache
  • Sore Throat
  • Sinus Congestion
  • Fatigue, Lethargy
  • Aches and Pains
  • Nausea

How long will we maintain homeostasis?
Generally, it requires only 1 to 4 visits to maintain homeostasis. In most cases, homeostasis can be achieved after the first visit. In order for the body to achieve complete homeostasis, the client may require a second, third or, rarely even a fourth visit, dependent upon:

  • The stress level of the client
  • The amount of bodily toxins
  • The strength of the person's immune system
  • The client's level of hydration

What is Homeopathy?
Homeopathy is a gentle, safe and effective system of medicine which has been used for over 200 years. It is based on treating the individual with highly diluted substances referred to as remedies which are administered in tablet or liquid form. The homeopathic remedy triggers the body's natural system of healing in order to help alleviate the individual's symptoms. A Dr. of Homeopathic medicine will match a remedy best suited to the individual's symptom picture. Homeopathy works on the principle "like cures like." A substance which would cause symptoms in a healthy person is used to cure the same symptoms present in an individual with the same illness. For example, coffea is a remedy derived from coffee which is normally a stimulant however when administered to an individual suffering from insomnia, if the symptom picture matches that of coffea, the remedy may help to alleviate this symptom.

How are remedies administered?
Homeopathic remedies are highly diluted and administered in a pellet or in a liquid form. The doses can vary from a single dose over a monthly period to a daily dose depending on the individual's symptom picture, whether it is a chronic or acute complaint and the remedy choice. Acute doses are often administered in lower potencies and repeated more frequently.

Is Homeopathy safe for children?
Avoid using numerous antihistamines, antibiotics and analgesics for children's ailments. Instead consider the benefits of Homeopathy. This is a natural, non-toxic treatment effective for anything from acute ailments such as earaches, colds; flu's and fevers to serious ailments which may be affecting children on a physical or psychological level. Homeopathy can help support anything from fears and phobias to trauma, learning disabilities and much more. Children respond well to Homeopathy as it helps to strengthen the immune system leaving them less susceptible to reoccurrences of symptoms which are more likely to occur when administering repeated doses of prescribed antibiotics.

What to expect?
An initial consultation takes about an hour and involves a detailed discussion of the individual's chief complaints, keeping in mind hereditary factors and addressing the physical, mental and emotional health of the individual. Information about sleep patterns, temperature, idiosyncrasies, stresses and grief's all help the Homeopath determine a remedy that best matches the individual on all levels. Follow-ups occur 4-6 weeks after an initial and take about a half an hour. The Homeopath will track the patient's progress and re dose or modify the remedy if needed.

What is Iridology?
Each of us is equipped with a miniature recording screen that can gauge the status of our health—the iris. Via the direct connection of the surface areas of the iris with the cervical ganglion of the sympathetic nervous system, impressions from all over the body are conveyed to the iris. This connection is called the neuro-optic reflex.

Neuro pertains to a nerve or nervous tissue. Optic pertains to the eyes or sight. Reflex is an involuntary response to a stimulus. Reflexes depend upon an intact neural pathway between points of stimulation and the responding organ.

The iris reveals the characteristics of body tissue, the presence of acids, catarrh and anaemia. The condition of the autonomic and central (brain and spine) nervous systems in relationship to the organs may be determined. Iris analysis also reveals the hyper or hypo functioning of endocrine glandular systems.

Iridology is the study and analysis of the neuro-optic reflex, the art and science of revealing the pathological, structural, functional and emotional disturbances in the human body.

What to expect?
An initial consultation takes about an hour. Patients should leave an iris consultation having obtained an understanding of:

  • What factors contributed to their present complaint?
  • How past suppressions contributed to their current problems?
  • What lifestyle and emotional factors may have contributed to their current symptom picture?
  • What areas need support or treatment in order to increase vitality and regain balance?
  • How to maintain health and practice preventative medicine?

How can yoga help?
Yoga is about creating balance in the body through developing both strength and flexibility. This is done through the performance of poses or postures, each of which has specific physical and mental/emotional benefits. The poses can be done quickly in succession, (vinyasa-style yoga) or more slowly to increase stamina and perfect the alignment of the pose. The poses are a constant, but the approach to them varies depending on the tradition in which the teacher has trained.
